Junior Carbon Consultant (80-100%)
Salary / Compensation:
CHF 25 - CHF 30 (per hour) (depending on experience).
Location:
Remote – with occasional meetups in Zurich.
Your Responsibilities
Data Gathering: Help clients collect and structure data for carbon footprint calculations.
Analysis: Assist with calculating GHG emissions using Excel-based tools and internal templates.
Research: Investigate decarbonisation options, technologies, and industry benchmarks.
Reporting: Contribute to client reports, case studies, and carbon reduction roadmaps.
Collaboration: Work closely with senior consultants and engineers to develop actionable strategies.
Continuous Learning: Keep up with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in sustainability.What You’ll Bring
What You’ll Bring
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or similar.
Tools: Proficient in Excel; any experience with carbon accounting tools or LCA software is a plus.
Mindset: Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and a drive to make an impact.
Communication: Comfortable explaining your work and asking questions.
Languages: Fluent English; German or French helpful but not required.
Swiss or EU work permit required.
